Cassandra has been named to the Sifted 100 Southern Europe 2026. The Sifted 100 is an annual ranking by Sifted, Europe's leading startup media, identifying the fastest-growing startups across the region. For us, this is a reference point in a longer story: building the infrastructure that lets marketing teams finally trust their own numbers.
At a Glance
Cassandra, an AI-first Marketing Mix Modeling and incrementality platform founded in Italy, was recognized in the Sifted 100 Southern Europe 2026 leaderboard. Sifted's annual ranking identifies the 100 fastest-growing startups across Southern Europe, including Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Turkey, ranked by two-year revenue compound annual growth rate.
What Is the Sifted 100 Southern Europe?
The Sifted 100 Southern Europe 2026 ranks the hundred fastest-growing startups operating across Southern Europe, evaluated on revenue growth trajectory and business fundamentals. It is not a popularity contest or an award voted on by peers. Selection is based on verified growth data, which makes inclusion a meaningful signal rather than a marketing credential.
Why This Recognition Matters for Marketing Measurement
Every marketing team we talk to faces the same structural problem: they are spending significant budget across multiple channels, but they cannot tell you with confidence what is actually driving results. They have dashboards. They have attribution reports. What they do not have is an honest answer to "if I cut this channel by 30%, what happens to revenue?"
Last-click attribution and platform-reported ROAS give marketers a number, but not the truth. Each ad platform measures its own contribution in isolation, with no mechanism to account for overlap, diminishing returns, or the counterfactual. The result is budget decisions made on data that flatters the platforms and obscures the real picture.
Cassandra closes that gap using Bayesian Marketing Mix Modeling combined with incrementality calibration. Marketing Mix Modeling is a statistical method that measures the true contribution of each marketing channel to revenue, accounting for all channels simultaneously and controlling for external factors like seasonality or macro trends. Our AI-first, Bayesian approach means the model updates continuously as new data arrives, rather than producing a static quarterly report. GeoMatch, our geo-experiment layer, lets teams run controlled geographic tests to validate what the model shows, turning insight into something defensible when the CFO asks for proof.
The connectors (native integrations with Google Ads, Meta, TikTok Ads, Shopify, and major data warehouses) mean setup is measured in days, not quarters. We built Cassandra for CMOs and Heads of Growth at B2B SaaS, eCommerce, and Fintech companies who need to move fast and cannot afford a six-month consulting engagement every time budget allocation becomes a question.
What We Have Built and Where We Are Going
Being on the Sifted 100 matters because of where we are in the build. We are expanding ICP coverage into mid-market eCommerce and Fintech alongside our B2B SaaS core, and deepening the platform's incrementality and geo-experiment capabilities. The next phase is making Cassandra the default measurement layer for growth teams across Southern Europe and beyond, a single source of truth that connects media investment to revenue outcomes with a level of statistical rigor that has, until now, been accessible only to enterprise teams with large data science budgets. This recognition reflects the momentum. The work ahead is to convert that momentum into the standard.
